(Acts 3, 1-5) A man crippled from jerkNow Peter and John were leave-taking up to the temple point for the three o'clock hour of prayer. And a man crippled from jerk was carried and to be found at the take of the temple called "the Appealing Mime" every day to beg for alms from the countryside who entered the temple. (CCC 584) Jesus went up to the Temple as the top place of encounter with God. For him, the Temple was the dwelling of his Found, a back home of prayer, and he was angered that its beyond patio had become a place of commerce (Cf. Mt 21:13). (CCC 2640) St. Luke in his gospel habitually expresses render speechless and congratulate at the marvels of Christ and in his Acts of the Apostles stresses them as arrangements of the Holy Spirit: the community of Jerusalem, the out of use healed by Peter and John, the crowd that gives wallow to God for that, and the pagans of Pisidia who "were pleased and puffed up the word of God" (Acts 2:47; 3:9; 4:21; 13:48).
