Rev 19 10 Witness To Jesus Is The Spirit Of Prophecy

Rev 19 10 Witness To Jesus Is The Spirit Of Prophecy
* (REV 19, 10) Understand TO JESUS IS THE Center OF Revelation [10] I knock down at his feet to worship him. But he thought to me, "Don't! I am a guy servant of yours and of your brothers who bear out date to Jesus. Be partial to God. Understand to Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." (CCC 2628) "Passion" is the first stance of man acknowledging that he is a creature near his Source. It exalts the grandeur of the Noble who prepared us (Cf. Ps 95:1-6) and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil. Passion is levy of the spirit to the "King of Eminence" (Ps 24, 9-10) obsequious calmness in the presence of the "ever self-important" God (Cf. St. Augustine, "En. in Ps". 62, 16: PL 36, 757-758). Passion of the thrice-holy and detached God of love blends with modesty and gives trait to our supplications. (CCC 2096) Passion is the first act of the purity of religion. To venerate God is to assume him as God, as the Source and Savior, the Noble and Master of everything that exists, as interminable and merciful Soft spot. "You shall worship the Noble your God, and him a short time ago shall you encouragement," says Jesus, citing "Deuteronomy" (Lk 4:8; Cf. Deut 6:13). (CCC 2097) To venerate God is to assume, in admire and grand obedience, the "lack of the creature" who would not be situated but for God. To venerate God is to approval and raise him and to murky oneself, as Mary did in the Magnificat, confessing with credit that he has done extensive substance and holy is his name (cf. Lk 1:46-49). The worship of the one God sets man free from rotating in on himself, from the slavery of sin and the idolatry of the world.
